2. Business Location & Jurisdiction

Simply Sour is based in Queensland, Australia. While we may expand sales Australia-wide in the future, our operations are currently conducted primarily within Queensland.

3. Products & Availability

All products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue products without notice.

4. Pricing

Prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to change prices at any time.

5. Orders & Payments

Orders are confirmed once payment is successfully processed. We reserve the right to cancel orders due to errors, availability issues, or suspected fraud.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Simply Sour is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of our website or products.

7. Governing Law

These policies are governed by the laws of Queensland and the Commonwealth of Australia.

Important Food Safety Information

Please note: Our products are prepared in a kitchen that handles common allergens, including but not limited to gluten (wheat), dairy, eggs, nuts, seeds, and sesame.

Our products are not suitable for individuals with severe or life-threatening allergies.

While we take reasonable steps to minimise cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee that any product is completely free from allergens.

Storage & Consumption

Products should be stored and consumed according to the instructions provided.

We are not responsible for loss of quality, spoilage, or illness resulting from improper storage, delayed pickup, or consumption beyond recommended timeframes.

Simply Sour ("we", "our", "us") is an Australian sourdough bakery operating online and in-person. Our website address is https://simplysour.com.au. We sell sourdough bread and bakery products online, offer subscriptions with store pickup, provide local delivery, and may trade at farmers' markets from time to time.

Shipping & Refunds Policy

Effective Date: January 2026

1. Pickup & Delivery

Simply Sour currently operates a pickup model from designated Brisbane locations on scheduled bake days. Pickup details, including location and time windows, will be confirmed at the time of purchase or via email.

Local delivery may be available in select areas at an additional cost. If delivery is offered, estimated delivery windows will be provided at checkout. Delivery availability and fees are subject to change.

2. Missed Pickups

If you are unable to collect your order during the designated pickup window, please contact us as soon as possible at hello@simplysour.com.au. We will make reasonable efforts to arrange an alternative, however refunds or replacements cannot be guaranteed for orders not collected on time.

3. Order Changes & Cancellations

Due to the perishable nature of our products, cancellations and changes must be requested at least 48 hours before the scheduled bake day. Requests made after this window may not be accommodated. To request a change or cancellation, email hello@simplysour.com.au.

4. Refunds

We take pride in the quality of our products. If you receive an item that is damaged, incorrect, or does not meet reasonable quality expectations, please contact us within 24 hours of pickup or delivery with a description and photo. We will assess requests on a case-by-case basis and may offer a replacement, store credit, or refund at our discretion.

Refunds are not available for change of mind, personal taste preferences, or orders not collected during the designated window.

5. Subscription Orders

Subscription customers may skip a scheduled delivery or pause their subscription by notifying us at least 48 hours before the next bake day. Refunds for subscription payments already processed will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

6. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer rights under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010). You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
